Most question asked by my friends is “How do I get POP3 access of my Yahoo! Mail?” The answer usually is YPops!. However, today while browsing aimlessly at 5 a.m, I stumble at Yahoo!Mail’s option page, and discover they’re reactivated their POP3 and mail forwarding support. I’ve been using Yahoo as my personal e-mail since 1998, and I don’t think I would give it up since this is my steady personal contact (even my mobile phone numbers already change a few times since then, because moving between countries, got stolen, lost the number, forgot to renew, etc). Okay, enough rambling, to activate this option, just go to option on the top right corner of Yahoo!Mail main message, and choose Mail Options. On the left panel you’ll see POP & Forwarding. just click on it, you’ll be notified that the user interface will be Yahoo!Mail classic to activate the option, don’t worry because your main e-mail interface will be the same. just click on Set up or edit POP & Forwarding. Next option you could already activate POP access. Yahoo!Mail’s POP3 configuration could be found here.
For you lazy ones:
| Server Settings: | |
| Incoming Mail Server (POP3): | pop.mail.yahoo.com |
| Use SSL, port:995 | |
| Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): | smtp.mail.yahoo.com |
| Use SSL, port:465, use authentication | |
| Account Name/Username: | youraccount@yahoo.com |
| Email address: | youraccount@yahoo.com |
| Password: | Your Yahoo!Mail password |

I really liked this post. Can I copy it to my site? Thank you in advance.
my yahoo mail nt show like that figure, i have to upgrade to MailPlus for POP and Forwarding.
any suggestion?
Hmm… Mas Hardi, unfortunately I never use MailPlus before, I suggest you ask Yahoo!’s customer service. However, in my account it’s available under Mail Options->POP & Forwarding, followed by a screen apologising their appearance, then I’m forwarded to old options page of Web&Pop setup.
